Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced) or 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
8 oz cream cheese (cubed)
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer the strawberries or spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
Add the cream cheese, scattering the cubed pieces evenly over the strawberries.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese and fruit layers. Do not mix.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much surface as possible.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
